- Hardee County Strategic Plan – Hardee County, Florida
This was a six month project involving community surveys, focus groups, and public hearings on key community issues: Educational opportunities, Personal growth opportunities, Community Infrastructure (roads, water, sewer, telecommunications), Employment opportunities, Business opportunities, Recreational and cultural activities, Health care, Public safety, Housing, Community Belonging and Quality of Environment.
- Resource Conservation and Development Utilization Plan
The plan summarized existing land conservation, water management, community development and land management elements of the five (5) counties organized under the newly created Resource Conservation and Development Council – a non-profit organization formed to assist in implementing local and regional plans of other organizations and agencies beneficial to resource conservation and sustainable development in the five-county area.
- Lee County Recreation Recovery Action Plan
This study provided an inventory of parks, recreational services, user statistics, conditions of facilities and priorities for rehabilitation and/or development of programs in urban service areas. This plan is a prerequisite for funding under the federal Urban Park and Recreation Recovery program.

This study provided an inventory of parks, recreational services, user statistics, conditions of facilities and priorities for rehabilitation and/or development of programs in urban service areas. This plan is a prerequisite for funding under the federal Urban Park and Recreation Recovery program.
- Accreditation Study – Children’s Home Society of Southwest Florida
This study involved an organization-wide analysis and development of internal policies and procedures covering areas such as service delivery, data management and quality assurance.
- Community Plan – Early Intervention Program for Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida
This plan involved the development of a multi-county system-wide process and procedures for meeting the State requirements for funding under the EIP program.
- Economic Impact Study – Highlands County, Florida IDA/EDC
Analysis of the direct and indirect financial impact the Avon Park Air Force Range had on the Highlands County economy through employment, expenditures and training exercises hosted at the facility.
- Joint Land Use Study – Highlands County, Florida IDA/EDC
A study funded through the Department of Defense and EPA to analyze the impact of using the Avon Park Bombing Range for target practice from incoming military craft from both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean
- Business Retention Study – Highlands County, Florida IDA/EDC
Survey and analysis of over 50 existing manufacturing companies in Highlands County to determine their growth status, expansion needs and input on doing business in Highlands County.
- Toolkit Project: Job Creation Specialist – Florida Heartland Rural Economic Development Initiative
Assisted 3 rural counties in reviewing and submitting plans for a State Enterprise Zone Designation. Conducted 250 business interviews aimed at informing businesses on the tax benefits of the Enterprise Zone status and use of the workforce boards in recruiting and hiring labor.
